There are Eight(8) basic parts of speech.These are

    8. Let us start with nouns

    Nouns

    what is the nouns?

    Nouns are words we use for something,people and animals and places,as well as for thing like ideas,feeling,and thoughts

    Example of Nouns

    We can usually ask What? or Who?When we want to find out which word in the sentence is noun

    For example

    Ally had an Ideas->Who had an Ideas? What did Ally have?an Idea There are two nouns in this sentence.Ally and Idea are nouns

    Types of nouns

    There are two main types of Noun.These are
    1. Proper noun
    2. Common nouns

      2. These are nouns are the names of specific things,place,or people,Example of proper noun are Tanzania,Mr.mwasi,Dodoma and English.Proper nouns are spelled with capital first letter.Your name is proper name

      3. Common noun Don't have a capital first letter, except at the beginning of a sentence.

      book,rain,fork,music and summer

      Now let as see how to change singular into plural nouns

      When we use a noun we have to show if there is one of them(singular) or plural.Most of nouns Simply have -s at the end to show plural.
